#8 Capatilism A love story.

Capitalism A Love Story
I really loved this movie and the picture kinda of sums it up all in one. Big businesses taking over the nation leaving little for the rest of us working class. I love this documentary because the film make Micheal Moore Is very much giving a reality we don't all see from our own perspective. All of us were affected whether we recognize it or not. Some of us would have better jobs and would own a home without the worry of losing our house in a great market to resell and move as we please before Reaganomics. I feel as if this wool was draped over my eyes but my intuition was sensing that something was wrong in this society. Why are people always talking about spending and buying while the people who are rich are selling and investing in our downfall. One topic during the movie that really shocked me was about the corporations taking out life insurance policies on there own workers and being mad that not enough were dying. The family's of these mortality's received nothing while they tend to funeral and medical costs after the departed. What will happen next if this isn't the final straw for America??

#7 Court doesn't care about Arizonians.

I am writing a paper for my English class on community issues for a persuasion  paper. I am recently was held for a warrant I tried to squash at court when I went in person. The judge still detained me even though I went in voluntarily. I feel this was discrimination since all the people after me were there for the same reason and I was the only one held back. I feel it is slightly to do with AZ being responsible for incarcerating latino/a's and for owning the jails and prisons in AZ. Might be why the other people there were given a warning yet I was held on a $500 bond and could not pay 10% they wanted the whole thing; considering it did not go towards my fines which is why I was there in the first place. While I was detained for 4 days, I was notified that AZ Sheriff Joe" Is responsible for the inmates here in Phoenix by taking profit in the prisons and jails. I feel this was counter productive to keep inmates out of jail like a conflict of interest. Not only that but he was just in court for being sued $50 million dollars for SB 1070 which deported all the illegal immigrants from Phoenix these last 4 years. Where does that money come from? The tax payers; you and me actually. So why is this being tolerated??? I asked the same question, while the city and state are being reported to have an income of  %80 percent of the states money coming from inmates and being spent on legal issues like deportation and not out of the owners own expenses which reach the millions of billions of dollars. Kinda sounds like Capitalism to me at it's finest; Well again Castro here and I will update you after I do further research.,

#6 ASU Offering 7 1/2 week classes good or bad Post

I believe that offering ASU students to graduate in half the time is a plus. I am taking a course for Eng 102 for my 2 year community college and it is a lot of work but it is the same for a full semester just get's right to the point. I feel as If they are making too big a deal for offering a half semester class, but it also depends on the course work required to complete the classes. If the class is offering half semester classes then it has to be the teacher who is successful in doing their duty to make sure the students have enough time to study in between classes and tests and be able to comprehend the course work. I feel as if the interest of the students will be high if they have a short attention span like most mid 20's students. Well we will see when I attend next year if they will have been successful in completing their classes in half the time which means faster graduation for me I'm for it..

#4 Slanted Report Michigan State Make it about the “minority group gone too far

This picture Is about the students in Michigan State who protested to get the President and the Dean to resign due to racist remarks earlier this month. The Michigan football team threatened to boycott if the President did not resign and the school would of lost millions of dollars. Michigan who is doing really good this year despite all of there issues on campus. The author a little slanted in there reporting. The person was about personal preference trying to persuade the reader that they should see it the way the author did, which was against the group that stood up for themselves. According to the post the author feels the group went too far in protesting for there school officials to be reprimanded. And was a little upset at the fact the "minority group" was successful in their mission. I quote:

#5Job Market Blog post

Well, if you are like me, and looking in the Phoenix job market, you are in the right place for some help.  I will post what I find as hot jobs or openings I'm aware of through several sources and you can do the same.  We can help each other out and hopefully we can all find jobs that we are looking for.  It's tough out there today and the amount of time saved by blogging to help others, the better off we all will be.

Okay, so I will start off by saying that there are two specific jobs I was in search of within the last 12 months: financing/banking and certified nursing assistant.

I will start with the CNA... Most jobs require that you have at least 6 months experience or you won't even get an interview.  So, a girlfriend told me about registry places as a good start to get that experience and the "experience" that most hospitals like Banner, Scottsdale Health and John C. Lincoln are looking for.  One of the places to get hired fast is Sacred Heart Nursing Services: 3418 E Indian School Rd, 602-77-8721.

I've posted my first blog of others to come about a certified nursing assistant job.

Blog #3 Police Brutality

I was watching the news on Fox 10 on TV just this week and I saw Director and Actor Quinton Terintino was a subject; calling out the NYPD for being "Murderers". I thought to myself "Is this still going on in the nation"? Yes it is and they were even trying to boycott his new movie dropping in December.
I think that he went a little over board with his march in New York. I feel that there are good and bad cops. Some actually care and help the community, some cops are not well trained and panic under pressure; I feel like the one's that use the badge as a way to bully and harm people are the ones that Quinton was referring to.
I can see the reason why people are mad with the Mike brown and the other shootings that have occurred even here in AZ. I have seen more and more videos surfacing the TV and the Net involving these occurrences. Should we stand by silently or should we make a fuss about these events to promote awareness, you can be the judge of that I say. Well until next time, Peace.
