I think that he went a little over board with his march in New York. I feel that there are good and bad cops. Some actually care and help the community, some cops are not well trained and panic under pressure; I feel like the one's that use the badge as a way to bully and harm people are the ones that Quinton was referring to.
I can see the reason why people are mad with the Mike brown and the other shootings that have occurred even here in AZ. I have seen more and more videos surfacing the TV and the Net involving these occurrences. Should we stand by silently or should we make a fuss about these events to promote awareness, you can be the judge of that I say. Well until next time, Peace.
I am pursing my career in law enforcement and this topic has always been a sensitive one for me. I personally want to be a police officer to help communities and protect them from the bad in the world. It is really offensive when I hear people calling cops pigs or saying that they are all bad. I know this isn't true because I myself am not a bad person. Is there bad cops? Yes there is. But that shouldn't be a reason for all cops to go under the bad category. There is a flaw in every system, whether it be race based, career based, gender based, etc. However, you cant put them all in the same list for the individual defect. Thank you for acknowledging the fact that they are not all bad.
